Other requirements and bonus points

Knowledge of big data tools, machine learning and willingness to explore and learn in that area are big pluses.
Ability to fluently speak and write in English. Almost goes without saying. If you speak any other additional language, so much the better.
General interest in the developments in the tech world. Keeping up to date with all the new great technologies out there.

You’ll be working with a young and talented team. The team is small, counting 5 members at the moment, so communication is easy and there’s no such thing as “middle management”. There are currently 3 software engineers, an illustrator/designer and a UX guy/CEO.  We discuss and decide based on the quality of arguments presented. We believe in colleagues co-owning the company so there are share options if we see you in the long term story. If you’d like to know more about Toshl, read our story so far.

The offices are located in Kranj, at Ljubljanska cesta 24 and face the direction of Škofja Loka. You can see 6 churches form our window if that’s your thing. 🙂 We also have a billiards table, a nice hangout room with a steady supply of coffee and snacks. We share the offices with the great guys and gals from 3fs, so there’s more cool people to hang around with as well.

Flexible working hours & remote work

We’re pretty flexible when it comes to working hours and time of arrival. There’s also the option to work from home twice per week.

While we prefer working together from the offices most of the time, we’re open to fully remote work. Candidates must of course have our trust and a high degree of self-organisation.

We’re looking for people who can help us develop awesome mobile and web apps. If you have a combination of other skills from different fields, so much the better! We’re looking for team players, people prepared to learn, humble, yet aspiring to greatness.

About Toshl Finance

We work in slippers, not shoes. Quietly for the most part, save some impromptu discussions. Almost all work remotely part of the time, daily schedules are flexible too. We have quick daily meetings, where we all get together either in person or remotely. We're all shareholders in the company. Sometimes we take a break and go up an (easy) mountain or karting together.
