Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Java Backend Developer for the expansion of our Remote Gaming Server services team in Ljubljana/Slovenia.

The Challenge

  • Build and improve backend services that are part of a larger distributed ecosystem
  • Improve the reliability and efficiency of our backend stack
  • Create new features and APIs by closely collaborating with our team
  • Write automated tests

Your Profile

Professional requirements:

  • Java developer (2+ years).
  • Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, design patterns.
  • Good understanding of OOP principles, concurrent and async programming practices.
  • Comfortable with software engineering best practices (unit testing, CI, code reviews, design documentation).
  • Delivering code that is performant, maintainable, clear and concise.
  • Team character and communication skills.
  • Degree in computer science or software engineering (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience with Spring Framework, MongoDB or RabbitMQ is a plus

  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Creative thinker, keen to further refine the system and process.
  • Committed to upholding the highest professional work standards and ethics.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
