Want to help us continue growing that community?
We’re Databox, a software company that helps other companies monitor, report, and improve their business performance. With integrations with popular tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, HubSpot, Salesforce and Zendesk, we’re helping more than 6,000 companies track data from than 70+ tools.
Over the next year, we plan to 10x the companies using our product. To do that, we’re looking for a content development specialist to work with our marketing team to recruit new contributors to the market research reports we publish every week.
Every month, our content development team compiles quotes from hundreds of experts to write 30+ comprehensive articles on subjects related to marketing, sales, customer service and more. Articles like: 15 Mailchimp Integrations Power Users Recommend and Dozens of Marketers on How to Get More Views on Youtube.
We aim to grow our community of contributors to 10s of thousands of experts in the coming year and are looking for someone to help us.
REQUIREMENTS
- Identify and contact prospective content contributors. These will primarily be marketers, sales experts, agency professionals and other thought leaders working in the software, professional services and e-commerce industries.
- Research prospective contributors’ websites and social media profiles, so that you can reach out with context. Things like their product/service offering, recently published content, jobs they’ve had, etc.
- Perform high-volume, persistent outreach with prospective contributors to secure more contributions to our articles.
- Continually monitor and update the team (via our project management system) on surveys that are in progress.
- Collaborate with our marketing team, our agency partners and our software partners to come up with new ideas for content and new ways to collect contributions and promote our content.
The right candidates:
- Enjoy building communities. Not only do you love meeting and connecting with new people, but you enjoy building and maintaining a platform for everyone to stay in touch and learn from one another.
- Like meeting and connecting with new people. It’s probably really easy for you to start conversations with people you don’t know. You like making new connections and continually grow your network because of it.
- Are extremely organized. You don’t get overwhelmed when there are lots of moving pieces in a project. You take great satisfaction in following a process to its completion. At home, you might even organize your book shelf according to author. (That’s not necessary. But it’s kinda cool.)
- Have high attention to detail. You’re the one who reminds everyone of an upcoming deadline. The first one who notices a spelling error. You can probably memorize everything on your to-do list for the week without even looking. (Impressive.)
- Enjoy writing. Emails. Social media posts. Heck, maybe even a blog post if you’re up to it.
Additional requirements:
- Must be able to write and speak fluently in English.
- Strong grammatical and copy editing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Google Sheets is a plus.
