Overview

As a Business Intelligence Engineer at Sportradar, you will work on the development of Sportradar’s BI technology stack, build interactive analytics applications and scheduled reports supporting various product and service units in the Sportradar group with data driven insights. You will also contribute to the development of data pipelines to collect, transform, warehouse and process sports data and other data related to Sportradar’s products, services and operations.

The Challenge

• Deliver state-of-the-art data analytics and reporting solutions leveraging our data.
• Data modelling for reporting and analytics.
• Development of data visualizations and reports.
• Design, build and run scalable, reliable and secure data warehousing architectures and data integration/processing pipelines.
• Present ideas and solutions to business users and software developers in a clear and understandable way.
• Propose new, innovative ways of using data to improve our products and services.
• Co-create and deliver an ambitious business intelligence roadmap in close coordination with various business and technical stakeholders in the Sportradar group.

Your Profile

• Demonstrated technical expertise in the following areas: business intelligence tools, databases, data modeling, ETL processes.
• Experience working on projects related to data management and/or business intelligence.
• The successful candidate will be practiced in hands-on development of software or analytics solutions.
• Experience working with Qlik View/Qlik Sense, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SSIS, Apache, Flink, Kafka, Apache NiFi, Spark, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon Athena and/or Amazon Redshift are a benefit
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science / Engineering, Mathematics / Statistics, or related field; equivalent experience acceptable.
